I got no sound

all my movies seem lifeless i cant hear the awww yeah noises anymore http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

anyway i formated me computer not long ago and stuck windows 98 on it installed me drivers etc for other devices but then iu realised i had no sound or i couldnt put my sound back on

i havent got a sound card for a start im using the onboard sound
i got an acer labs motherboard with a slot 1 pII 300

i have no idea of how to get it back because its a problem i never come accross should i have audio drivers for the onboard sound or will i need to assable it in bios or something?

or do i just need to invest in a sound card http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif

Go into CMOS and make sure you have the sound Enabled if that does not work post on back we'll try something different.But if you have the extra cash I would shoot for a sound card Better sound and less head aches.
