My Ricoh MP9120A lists only three motion compression videocards for use with WinDVD operating on Windows 2000Pro - the ATI Rage Pro, Geeforce 256 or S3 Savage 4. At the moment I am using an ATI 3D Rage IIC PCI videocard and the winDVD won't work. It states that I need to lower the color depth or resolution, which I did, but it still didn't work. If I get one of these other videocards will that fix the problem? Also, will it make a difference if I get a newer version of one of the cards, for example, a Geeforce MX 200 or Geeforce MX 400? Thank you!
Problably would make a difference..some times certain versions of software only have support for certain devices...I would look for an update for the software, either from the drive manufacturer (since that is where you got the bundled software) or maybe a full version DVD software that might include support for your current setup......

FYI,
I am using an Nvidia Riva TNT2 Model64 32mb with Win2000Pro and Windvd and it works great.
