Hello out there! My OS is WINDOWS 98 SE.I downloaded a driver update for my Sound Blaster Live Value card. The program no. is sblw9xup.exe.Download was fine.My problem arises when I try to install the driver. Here's what happens: After the Licence agreement, the install shield shows 100%,and then an error mssg.appears:"An error occurred during the move data process:-113
Component:
File Group:
File:C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\PFTB011~TMP\data.hdr"
A solution for my problem will be very much appreciated.

Hello Blueeyes,

Try THIS LINK (http://www.talonsoft.com/techsupport/common.html) as it actually addresses your individual error message.

If this doesn't help...post back and let us know!

I was zeroing in on the 32bit...and MS-Dos Compatibility Mode!

If you would like, before one of the Big Kahuna Geeks jumps on this with the answer http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif , you might want to try a GOOGLE SEARCH (http://www.google.com) using the error message.

The critical statement in this is "Drives operating in "DOS Compatibility Mode".......If you have any drives in this mode there is a good likelyhood you do not have the correct IDE Controller Drivers installed in the computer........have you installed a new motherboard lately? If so, you didnt get the new IDE (or PCI Bus Master Controller) Controller drivers installed....if in fact you have the above problem. You can check to see by going to Control Panel/System/Performance.
