Let's try this again! I need to help someone reduce graphics acceleration to zero, and they're using Win2000 Pro - could anyone please tell me how the adjustment is made in that OS?

When I do this in other versions of Windows, the steps are: Start/Settings/Control Panels/System/Properties/Performance/Graphics.

I don't know of an equivalent control in Win2k. Many BIOSes allow disabling AGP 4x (or 2x, on older boards).

Hi To turn off hardware acceleration you need to
1. go to control panel
2.double click Display
3. In the Display properties dialog box click the Settings tab and then click the Advanced button
4. click the Troubleshooting tab and choose the level of hardware acceleration you want. Hope this will help.
