Hi all,
I have a problem with a new mobo i have just purchased. I have a Gigabyte GA-7XIE4 witha Duron processor. I managed to get my PC up and running installed a new harddrive, got windows loaded etc, fine so far!! I then started to install my hardware and drivers, i fell at the first hurdle!! I installed the drivers for the graphics card, went to restart and got a windows protection error and was told to restart, it would then only restart in safe mode. After several attempts, i had to reinstall windows, got the latest drivers and all was well. Iam now installing the network card, it goes in ok, but doesnt show up on the network (2 pcs linked), i've tried it onthe other PCI slots but get the windows protection error again and cannot figure it out, any ideas anyone?
