odd screen color.

ok, the machine boots but the screen is , say a pinkish color even the writing..
monitor problem. !

Wiggle the cable connection where it plugs into the back of the computer. If the colors go back to normal it's a connection problem, if not I would suspect the monitor. In that case, try the monitor on a different computer and a different monitor on this one, if possible.

Hi dna,

Inside the monitor there are three "guns" that give off electron beams. One each for the red, green and blue colors. Sounds like the green one's on vacation. Check your warranty. I've never seen one come back. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif
