window98 display setting is getting out of hand!! please help

i tried setting window display setting to as big as i can see easily
and it has advance tab under to change font
and again i tried set it to bigger than 150%
now everything is bigger than the screen
and i can't change the setting right now at this size
cos all the parameter ( the scroll bar to change size )
and advance tab got stuck under the screen no matter how i tried to drag the box up to see them
it won't go high enough for me to see the tabs
let alone change them
please help
cos working in cakewalk right now is like
attaching my eyes close to screen

I think if you enter Safe mode the video resolution will go back to 640x480, and then you can change the resolution while there. Shutdown, then reboot, press F8 while booting, and pick Safe mode. Let me know if that does it.

Yep, that should do it. Then after rebooting into normal mode, instead of setting screen size try going into the Appearance tab and set the fonts to larger sizes, leave resolution at 640x480, and I find that for my parents' computers using bold for fonts and menu bars helps too. You might also change them to different fonts, and once you're done, save the configuration and give it a name, so you can get it back easily.

You can also choose one of the standard Windows large font displays and change the background colors to something you like, then save that with a different name.
