I salvaged an CRT monitor from a msc (medium size company)
it looked a ittle tatty so I decided to tidy it up.
This included opening up the inside. I was able to use the monitor for a week before I decided to spruce it up.

Now the monitor does not work.
Is it worth trying to fix it?
I no nothing about monitors.

Then stay out of the insides or you could become extra crispy!!!!

Monitors contain some of the largest and most powerful capacitors in consumer usage, they can store lethal charges after being unplugged for weeks or months!

If it now doesn't work then chances are you knocked something loose, which should be an easy fix for a qualified repair shop (possibly very cheap too....)
