Hi! If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. I have been having trouble with my illegal act screen coming up more and more when I'm on the computer. Most of the time I'm on sites I've been to dozens of times before without this screen poping up. I've lost 2-$25.00 GC from sweeps because my computer won't let me go to the site to pick them up. I e-mailed their site and they say it's working fine from their end. I've even been on ebay when this comes up and I know that it shouldn't. It' very fustrating help!

OK, I think that's an Illegal Operation Error you're referring to. They can be caused by several tings, and a lot of the ones I've looked up related to Internet Explorer are caused by video drivers. You might try downloading and installing new drivers for your video card.
Q276393 (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q276/3/93.ASP) has some good links and info, and I have a link to a searh of the MSKD on my page, posted below. There you can look up the specific error message, and maybe find a solution. I'v etrtied posting the link here on the forums, it won't post right, so I put it in the webpage. Click the Details button in the Illegal Operation Error message window and write down the first line, "iexplore has caused an invalid page fault in module xxx.dll" etc, then look it up. MSHTML errors are caused by video drivers, a couple of others I've looked up too.

You also want to make sure that you are using the latest and greatest version of the Web Browser of your choice. This cleared up all of the problems when I was using an old PC with an old Browser Version.
I hope this helps.
