Antique Monitor

Hello - I have an old monitor with a "D"connector (plug) but it's 9-pin. For my computer I need the usual 15-pin. Do you know how I can adapt it for use?
The monitor is a Mitsubishi XC-1404CB.

Yes it looks like a couple of possible adapters there -

How old is the monitor? If it's an old CGA, it won't work with just an adapter, you'll need a CGA card and have to deal with almost no colors...

Yes the monitor says 1986 on the back so I guess i'd need that CGA card,

You know, on the plus side, having a fuctional monitor around for 16 years is certainly quite a feat of accounting management! Considering that several generations of monitor technologies have come and gone in that time, and the fact that the average monitor lasts at most 5 years in the usual "upgrade cycle", I don't think it would be too compulsive of you to buy a new monitor now http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif.
