Greetings all,
Sorry if this has been asked before.
I am looking to upgrade my TNT2 32mb AGP card to a Geforce4 Ti4400.
I currently have a 300W power supply in my case.
Am I going to be able to install and use Geforce 4 on a 300W power supply, or am I going to have problems?
I have been thinking of buying a 431W powersupply, but I might need to wait after forking over that much cash for the video card.

Thanks

That should be more than adequate for your needs; i run a 400w PS simply becuase i had a 300w blow out on me and decided to step up one notch.

It wasn't because the 300w wasn't powerful enough-it was a " qaulity " problem, and the company was quick to refund my credit.

I would suggest though that it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and get the new PS, and i would also recommmed ( if you don't have one already ) at least an Athlon/PIII CPU to run with the G4, because the G3 > depend on strong support from a powerful CPU, and the older PII/K6 series of processors don't really provide it.
