View Full Version : Modem password/mother board drivers

10-05-2000, 04:49 PM
After refrmatting a system to a new hard drive, i did some tweaking. One of these tweeks removed my systems ability to remember ISP passwords. I now need to enter my password to get on-line and another to get my mail. I run Win 98 SE. None of my btweaks were in the registery. Any suggestions?
Thanx. I posted this elsewhere as I was not aware of site specifics.

Secondly, my Motherboard site has updated drivers for IDE controler and VGA
adapter patch. How do you install these drivers?

Sorry I didn't get back sooner on this one, been having some connection problems too...

The MS Knowlegde Database has this: Password not Saved (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q148/9/25.ASP) It also has a link to a patch MS posted for this problem.

To install your motherboard drivers, check the manufacturer's website, they should have instructions, info or FAQ that will help.

If you had everything...Where would you put it?
