I am having a major connection problem, the system will connect fine but cannot seem to maintain a connection. The icon indicates it is connected but there is no transfer of information. This is an ongoing problem, I installed ie5 and developed a problem cm8330 module error that updateing the video driver has not cured. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Call your ISP and check your dial up settings, I think it might be the primary logon type that causes this, can't remember...
Also, if you have a winmodem, HCF or HSF modem, that's the problem. Winmodems are designed to talk to other Lucent modems, and most ISP's don't use them. Therefore, either it will connect and immediately disconnect, or just sit there and do nothing.
Soon as I come up with all the answers...they change the questions!!
