I have a problem with my floppy drive. When I first boot my computer, it works fine, but as I use it, it brings me a message that says that the computer cannot access the drive. This occurs around the 3rd or 4th disk i use. Rebooting the comp doesn't help, what do i do???

there are some possible solutions:
1.perhaps your floppy drive is damaged or dirty...
you can clean it or send it to a technical support
2.in other case your operating system have many conflicts,,,maybe you should format your machine...
3. finally , your floppy connector (inside the cabinet) is damaged or unpluged.
good luck

DON'T format the machine! It's probably a bad cable or dirty floppy drive. Look around for a cleaning kit.
systems Please don't recommend formatting and reinstalling unless it is a LAST RESORT. Most problems we see here can be solved without reinstalling. Your other advice was good.

I agree it could be a dirty drive but it is more likely to be a dry solder joint. This will cause just this sort of problem by working for a while but once everything warms up it stops working. Only one solution - buy a new floppy unit, they are not expensive and very easily put in.
