I recently installed a scanner on my computer (I think it's what they call a parallel port pllug in) Although it works sometimes I get an error saying Kennel 32 and I'm not sure what that is. Should I uninstall everything and try again?
thanks for any help on this

Kernal 32 is the core of the Windows 9X system. And is always running when you access system resources. If there is a problem with one of those resources you'll sometimes get that error. ( this is a very simply explaination but close enough to give you an idea what's wrong.)
Anyway... I would reinstall the scanner's drivers ( get the latest and greatest) and see if it clears up. If that doesn't work post back with some details on your system and the scanner.
Good luck http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
