So far so good. I've been beta testing this new browser for awhile now, and i don't have too many gripes. (It hasn't crashed yet!) There is this new media side bar...It's version 6 of win media player. Problem is i already had version 7...
anyone else using this? I am running winMe on a 866 p3 256k ram.

Welcome, fellow cheesehead! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Sorry, no experience with IE 6 -- I'm gun-shy about the word "beta". I figure M$ has enough $ to do its own testing! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif It is nice to have someone here who has enough moxie to run Me with a beta release, though. Did your system come with Me pre-installed, or did you do it, and if so, full or upgrade? There will be many people posting Me problems here, so I'm sure your experiences will be pertinent.

Actually No, I've had nothing but the normal OS trouble. Actually haven't had to do anyting drastic yet. Even this new browser is been kicking along pretty good. I average about 120 hours a month on-line, and at least playing around on the computer 2 hours a day! I had 3d game running for 4 hours yesterday and i didn't even get hangs!
yes the OS was pre-installed by *dell*

I started using IE6.0 last week and the only problem that I've had with it is about half of the subject lines is missing in the preview pane Of OLE. I can click where the subject line is suppose to be and it will open the message body with no problem. Has this happened with you?

I've been using IE 6 for two weeks now and no troubles whatsoever. Could it be the code is finally maturing ? (stubs his toe rushing to find wood and knock on it ; )!! ).

I ran it for about 2 hours, checked out the new features and whatnot. Then came to find out my online banking site doesn't support it so I couldn't check my accounts and whatnot online, so I promptly uninstalled it. Was good while it lasted though. I did enjoy that media bar, you can actually set up playlists.. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif Very cool! 8)
