I've never seen this ( not that I've seen that much ) but I just looked at a computer that a friend is having trouble with and there is no IRQ assigned to the ATI Expert&Play graphics card. But the system basically works. Device manager just shows memmory range and IO range. Is this normal for some systems? It's an ASUS P2L97 ATX board with Intel 440LX chipset and Pent ll 266. Only 3 years old.

Yes it is ! Some of the newer video cards and motherboard bio's are able to run the card without an IRQ, utilizing memory addresses and I/O addresses to the mobo instead.....especially helpful when you have an IRQ hungry sound card. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"!!
