1. Find out what motherboard you're using.
2. Find out what CPU you're using.
3. Get a motherboard manual and look up the settings.
That's the most reliable way...if you want to figure it out, you have to know what bus speeds are supported by the motherboard and CPU. If both support 100MHz bus, for instance, the 900MHz CPU would be 100MHz bus, 9x multiplier. 66MHz bus- my 200MMX runs at 66MHz, 3x multiplier.
If you want to know what you're already running, the motherboard manual is about the only way to go, unless you have software setup for it in BIOS, or the jumper settings are printed on the motherboard..

As a GENERAL rule of thumb....If your motherboard is more than 3 years old...it has a 66 mhz front side bus. If you are running a Intel processor that is more than 2 years old...again 66 mhz. If you are running over 300mhz (any brand cpu other than Intel) then it's a 100mhz bus and if less than a year old cpu, you might have a 133 or 200 Front side bus....Intel or otherwise.

By the way........I should have said that if puter's mobo is over 3 yrs old the bus speed is 66 mhz OR LESS!
