laptop won't boot

my laptop once didn't boot. when i pressed the power button on, the hard disk's light just blinked, the hard drive and fan didn't spin, then it went off! i tried opening it but the casing was too tight. i was scared to break the casing so i gave up. unscrewed, i turned it on and it was successful!! i figured there must've been something loose inside. however, a month after the same problem occurred. is there really anything loose inside?

Could be, more than likely there may be an intermittent ground connection to the laptop casing. Did you take the screws out? Has the laptop been impacted in any way?
