You don't just "clear " a password in NT/2000 with Dos!
It's part of an encrypted registry file called " SAM ", you can delete it-but then you'll not be able to boot into 2000. There are third party apps { cough, cough } out there that can remove and allow you to reset a password-but they don't always work. Traditionally you just have to do a reinstall, and overwirte the old passowrd with a new one when it asks you to create an admin account.
Try this site (http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html) i've had some luck using their program.
