Need SVGA driver for CompaQ Laptop

Can you tell me whether/where I might download (free) a SVGA driver for a recently refurbished Compaq laptop please.

Registration is free and they list driver pages for most manufacturers...the most useful thing for me though has been the "drivers found" section where users can upload drivers they have found that work...
