http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/mad.gif I'm keeping this extremely simple. I have 16 mb in the motherboard, and a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI. I know the card works cause Ive tried it on different computers. I recently replaced the CMOS battery, but it was only out for about 10 secs. I am tying a noose right now, so hurry up and reply.

Some more system specs would be nice...

Try booting a bare bones system on a table, out of the case. You need motherboard, CPU, video card, RAM and keyboard. That will tell if you have a spot on the motherboard grounding against the chassis.

Reseat the video card a few times, and the memory chips, and make sure all connections are good, and remember to turn the monitor on. (Been there, done that...)

Try a different monitor to be sure the monitor is not the cause, and try the current one on a different machine, to be sure it's good.

Watch to see if the CPU fan spins, and power supply fan, to be fairly sure you are at least getting power to the board. Any blinking LEDs would be a good sign too, as well as one beep from the speaker.
