Just recently, I was on update.zdnet.com and found out that I needed to install a critical update to my computer for Windows 98 Second Edition (I think the date on the file was in May) However, once I installed the program and restarted, it gave me the following error:

Fatal exeption 0E has occured at 0167:BFF72830. The current application will be terminated.

Sometimes I can terminate the problem and use my computer, then other times, that blue screen will keep popping up. Any ideas on how to eiter get rid of this fatal exception or how to undo a critical update?

Thanks!

Do you remember what the update was for? Any clues as to what it did?
Is it doing this all the time? Any pattern to it or other clues as to what is causing it, and what module is crashing?
