ati radeon & amd problems

I have an AMD 1GHZ on an Asus A7V motherboard with 512 mb of pc-133 memory and a Maxtor 80g ATA 100 drive running Winme. I cannot get the ATI Radeon 64 DDR card to run with this setup - any suggestions? This setup works with Win 98.
