Yeah when I go to a link and load the full page. Then go to another page and hit the back button my computer has to load the page again. It did not used to do this. I change the BIOS up a little before this started to happen. Any one know what it could be? (In the BIOS or anything else)
It sounds like a browser problem. In IE goto tools ->Internet options and check the cache settings also you may want periodically clear the cache. same place delete files button.

I think mjc hit it here...
some info that optimizers have mentioned is to whack down the storage size of the temp internet folder to nothing...BUT I have found that just taking it down to 8-12MB works better since that is usually enough space for your current session yet not so large the slowdown occurs.

I just tried Opera again because I noticed that both IE and Netscape are slow to bring up cached pages, even running under Win98SE. Opera refreshes immediately.
