Okay, I've been search the web for some entry level resources regarding NT 4.0 server. Most, if not all, of what I've located is for the advanced IT person. I'm seeking something more than just the system requirements and curious to learn about the history of NT 4.0 server, "how it works",and how it compares to other OS Server applications.

Thanks!

Here's a link that talks about NTFS
NTFS (http://arstechnica.com/paedia/n/ntfs/ntfs4-1.html)

Part 2 of the story is the "NTFS 5" article.

Here's some History links:
NT4 History (http://www.ultranet.com/~trident/winnt/features.htm)
NT4 History link 2 (http://www.mvhs.srvusd.k12.ca.us/~rkrane/ntclass/windowsNT4Causey.htm)

There are plenty of articles that compare network operating systems. A search on any search engine site should bring them up.

Thanks for the reply. I'm doing a comparative study of NT 4.0 Server in the business world and it's market share compared to other NOS Servers. A little harder to get find the info that I thought.

Again, thanks! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
