Anyone use QNX?

I thought I'd try it out but I'm having a difficult time with my video card set-up. It doesn't like the fact that I can't physically disable my onboard video (a couple weeks back I thought I would be able but I was warned maybe not--- Ried you're right). So in order to boot and run I have to disable the PCI card in BIOS and then switch the monitor cable and then go ahead and start up. Royal pain in the ......

My question is will I have the same problem in other UNIX based OSes or should I go ahead and try some flavor of LINUX?

What brand and model of motherboard are you using?

Haven't heard of QNX (http://www.qnx.com/), but I think I'll check it out after finding the home page for it.

QNX is a small, free OS download is about 23MB it can found here:QNX (http://qdn.qnx.com)

It's an HP(crippled Trigem - not even a very highly rated MOBO to begin with)i810 with about as much able to cahnged in BIOS as your average shovel.

If I can't come up with an easier way to do it, I'll just wait until I either upgrade my MOBO (this summer sometime) or get my hands on a second-hand machine (it'll run on a 486, maybe even earlier). Basically what I got off their site said, yeah it doesn't like some video combos but it should run if you disable one of the video cards.......I do it does.
