I using year Asus P3B-F M/B, 1 week ago, went i turn ON, PC, My PC BIOS come out " error BIOS hardware Monitoring detact fail" went i go into BIOS check, found Vcore (power) blinking, went i check the Vcore found +3.3V power over the normal the M/B detect from +3.3V jum to 4.05V.

Went i in Windowns, i open PC Proba, software PC monitoring provide by Asus, show alert at +3.3 voltage.

Every time i boot PC, the message pop UP, 1 week later my M/B battery finish power.

Any one can help me, what is the problem, is M/B or Power supply faulty?

What CPU is in your system? A core of 3.3V is much too high for modern CPUs, however, 3.3V is a common I/O voltage. The core voltage is regulated by the motherboard. It may just be a problem with the power monitoring circuitry because I believe the CPU would have failed with such a high over-voltage condition. I do not know at what point on the motherboard the voltage can be checked, but if it were my board, I'd want to measure it.

The P3 has a vcore around 1.6-1.7v I think, and would die a quick death over 4v. Must be the 3.3v line you mean, not the vcore. If it is fluctuating a lot -- and shown by *both* BIOS and Windows monitoring software -- chances are good it's a defective power supply. When (or if) you replace it look for a power supply that is "AMD certified" -- this means it is certified to deliver consistent power levels.
