Hi there,
Here is my problem in detail....
I have a machine loaded with windows 98 at home. The machine specifications are celeron 3XX MHtz, 32 MB RAM,12.1GB(10GB hard disk + 2.1 GB second harddisk). My machine was working well till a few weeks back. But now I find that i am not able to open more than one instance of notepad.exe at a time on my machine. If i try to open more than one notepad instance, I get the following error :
"This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shutdown.". I am giving you the details of the stack dump as shown below.

Also I am unable to run certain (not all) setup.exe programs for installing various software like games, editors, jdk setup etc . In this case also when i doubleclick setup.exe, i get the above mentioned error. Could you please tell me what could be the problem ? I also get the "RUNDLL32 invalid page fault in module RUNDLL32.EXE at 0167:0040619b" error when i turn on my computer. I tried reinstalling windows 98 on top of the previous installation but the problem has not gone away. Is it because some system files have been accidentally deleted? If so please tell me what to do to bring my system back to normal.
