General protection fault

OK here goes, I am trying to install win 95 on my 486.I get to the point were it ask for the certificate #,after a few sec. it gives me an error that says SUWIN CAUSED A GENERAL PROTECTION FAULT IN MODULE GDI.EXE @ 0001:1E92. I am ready for target practice. I installed this the other day and could not run it in normal.( only safe mode).I tried to install again and cannot get past this. Any sugestions???????????? Everybody has been such a great help before, I am sure we can figure this out.
