Remember window position

How do I get my apps to remember there window soze and pos'n the next time I open them. In particular, ie5 opens as a misiscule box every time.

for whatever reason, it remembers the last non-maximized position. So get it where you want it, close the window, and then re-open it. You should find that it opens exactly where you just closed it.
