Every time I empty my recycle bin, it asks me if I'd like to format my D: drive, which has my Linux partition on it. Is there a setting (in windows, or in the registry) that I can change to turn this off? Or maybe a way to hide the partition from Windows?
Thanks,
Jacob

Try this if Windows doesn't use this partition for storing files.(This may not be an option for all Windows Operating systems.)
Right click 'the bin' and choose 'properties'. On the first page choose 'Configure drives....' then click the tab for the partition in question. Click 'Do not move files.....' and move the slider to 0% to remove the recycle bin from that drive.
Hopefully this will stop your 'reformat' problem.
