can some1 please help me?? does ne1 have ne thoughts or ideas?
Well, a couple of things first.
Which model?
Have you done any updates or added new software?
Goto Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System ->Performance
Are you in MS-DOS compatability mode?
Check for conflicts in Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager (conflicts will be indicated by a yellow exclamation point).
Post back with this info, please.

Two things you can do right away that I doubt you have ever done which will help until you can explain more to us about what your slowdown specifically relates to...........DO THIS RIGHT AWAY: 1. When the computer first starts up.....press the F8 key and choose "Command Prompt only"....then at the C: , type scandisk and let it run scandisk.....then push F8 again and at the same screen you were on before, choose "Safe mode" and let the computer boot up......then go to Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Defragmenter and run that program........it sounds like your hard drive is very fragmented (even when it's only 3% Win will slow down a lot). You might have other issues that need someone's help.....but these are essentials to get back on the right track with your puter!!! Good luck
