Hello I use netscape 4.7 and when I click on the browser it wants me
to enter my password but this is a pain ..need help on resetting so
I can click on the browser and get online ...Thanks AL..

been awhile since i used netscape; what do you mean password? Are you sure you're not talking about your modem dialup maybe? There is a spot on the dialup window to save your password, just check it. Not sure if this is what you're asking, but i don't recall netscape asking me for a password when i used it to surf. Hello IIsbob,
When I installed netscape I enter the pass word on set up ,But now it is
sure a pain on the ?...I went into perference etc and cannot find a way to change that ..the icon on the desktop when I click on it the pass word window comes up and then I have to manually type in the pass word and then the browser will put up ..netscape 4.7 ..any suggestions ?..thanks al ..

you go into "Profile Manager", there you can update, delete, or create new profiles without a password on them.
