HTREE\ROOT\0 is a subkey of the registry that repersents the hardware tree. You have a hardware device that either no longer exist on your computer or just isn't starting up.

Hope this helps http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

hey GH http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

I have not added or subtracted any hardware, no problems in device man, no IRQ conflicts.

can't imagine what it is - unless, my printer seems to have reinstalled another copy of itself!

hehe

I don't think that's 'normal'.

I agree with Randy.....But , if you really want to, you could boot into safe mode and check that there aren't any dublicate devices in device manager. That's about the only other thing I know of to check.
