We have problem a with the Win 98 and ME PCs coonected to the Novell(ver 4.1)
Dell server.

If a PC crashes or Freezes and we have to reboot the PC, then the server is not terminating the connection. The PC won't connect back to the server. The only way we can connect back is by restarting the server. Can somebody help me on this?


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may need to change your watchdog configuration at the server. I would look at:


Number of Watchdog Packets
Delay Between Watchdog Packets
Delay Before First Watchdog Packet



Also for troubleshooting I would set the "Console Display Watchdog Logouts" to "on".
