Every time I boot my computer I get a long file name backup error below that it says bad command line format. How do I correct this so it will go away and stop haunting me????
Thanks,
Chelle

Use MSCONGIG to stop "LFNBK" from starting at bootup.( look for lfnbk.exe or Long file name backup)
Here's a link to a site that explains how to use MSCONFIG to stop the automatic starting of programs:
MSCONFIG (http://www.techadvice.com/w98/M/MS_CONFIG.htm)
Also check that long file names are still avaible in explorer or check for a file called "lfnbk.dat".
Good luck http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
