Running Windows 98 SE on ASUS A7V133 Socket A Motherboard with VIA Apollo KT133A Chipset & AMD 1000MHz Athlon CPU. I have 3 physical drives and am using Promise Ultra 100 IDE Controller.

Tired to install OS/2 Warp Version 4 in a primary partition on my second hard drive. Fdisk from install diskettes could see my first drive, but did not seem to recognize the other two. Fdisk Help said that Tab Key would change Disk, but it did not.

I am using Boot Magic and Partition Magic 6.0 to manage my system. I have Win 3.11 under DOS 6.22 running okay.

Boot Magic is set up to run Windows 98, DOS 6.22, and OS/2 Warp.

As per some instructions, I disabled Boot Magic and used Partition Magic to create an Active HPFS Partition on my second drive, intending to use it for OS/2 Warp. I hid the other Primary used by windows 98.

In the BIOS Setup, I enabled OS/2 Memory > 64K, which seemed like a good idea. BTW: Does enabling this option do any harm if you are not running OS/2?

Since OS/2 Warp Version 4 is an old operating system, I assume that it just cannot cope with the more modern BIOS & IDE drives that I am using.

Does anybody have any ideas on the above?

Is anybody running OS/2 Warp on a modern system?
