Hi

I have 4 gig hd that is partitioned in 2 parts (2 gigs each). I am running win 98 from the one partition and tthe other partition is a NT partition. I have never used it and want to remove it bu t alas I have have failed in my galiant attempts.

I have tried fdisk but that does not work. It tells me that I cannot delete a partition while a logical drive exists and then when I try to remove the logical drive it tells m no logical drives exists (or something really contradictory).

I have also tried to set the NT Partition as the primary partition but I cannot do that either.

I have formatted the drive but it predictably only formats the win 98 partition.

Can somebody please help me. I want the whole 4 gigs for myself, me alone you hear me. damn you windows nt, damn you to hell

There should be an option in fdsik to remove non-DOS partitions...if not or it doesn't work then you can use a program called delpart (http://rustysmith.com/delpart.htm) (it is an old NT 3.5x tool)
