A win 2000 system when it boots an error appears saying not enough space available for page file, then after oking thru that it finishes booting but in my computer the c drive shows as 0bytes total space? I can not create a new share of c drive but d drive seems fine when trying to explore c it says it's not accessible Am logging in as administrator but can not get access to c drive help please!!
It is quite possible that your C: is full, especially if you haven't cleaned up any of the junk files that inevitably collect in any Windows OS...try using the cleanup tools to clean up a little, you may have to use the emergency disk to do so, also you may not need to have as large of a swap(page) file as you do, since it seems that 2k wants to use whatever space you do have on C: for it. If you have a lot of space on d: you may want to try and move some stuff to D:.
How much memory do you have and how large is your page file supposed to be?

It reports C drive as 0 bytes used 0 bytes available and total space as 0 bytes. It is about 18GB actually though. Most things seem to work OK but not all apps. don't have emergency disk. Can I create a set from a different machine?

Hmm, pagefile.sys is the virtual memory swap file for W2000-sounds like what mjc suggested-you've run out of space. Do you have a lot of music/video files?
If you can successfully boot to the desktop-use the ERdisk feature to creaste an emergency boot disk; or if you have the 4 original install floppies you can use them tho repair W2000, just choose the " repair " option after booting with them.
If you have access to another PC, even running W98, then use the W2000 cd to make a set of boot floppies using the makeboot32 program on the CD.
