Hi! I just loaded service pack 6 onto NT 4.0 that had sp1 on it and now it hangs on the blue startup screen. I am dual-booting with win 95 on the c: and NT on the D:. Everything was working fine before this. Also like the expert that I am, I didnt make a boot disk before doing this. ARGH! I also tried to re-install NT 4.0 and it does the same thing and before that I tried "the last known good" to no avail. Please help!

Got a server error first post...let's try this again with some new info:

With NT it'snever a good idea to " skip " service packs-i'm not even sure you can do it.

My best advice to you is to do a reinstall-fresh.

And then again,

You might want to save yourself some time and headaches...and do as iisbob suggests!
