Has anybody had any success transferring MP3s to the phone under XP?
If so how?

although there wasn't much interest in this, here is a followup from samsung:
You will need to download Music Match Jukebox, and the driver for the Samsung Uproar from the following websites:
http://www.musicmatch.com/download/free/?os=pc&mode=input&DID=&OEM= http://www.musicmatch.com/info/plug-ins/?plugin=player&os=pc

i figured out how to get my samsung uproar mp3 phone working under windows xp even though samsung says it can't be done.
- uninstall sprint pcs download manager
- uninstall uproar usb driver
- uninstall real jukebox (that came with the phone)
- REBOOT
- install most recent music match jukebox
- options, add new features, mp3 players, uproar
- install samsung uproar drivers (they are NOT certified)
- when you have the mp3s you want loaded in musicmatch then
- file, send to device, uproar
there you go! good luck :p
Ok, mazarino, was going to yell at you about digging up an old, dead thread but....:D
I know why I never investigated this problem...don't have the uproar and don't know where to get around here!
But I am glad you figured it out...

the thread wasn't dead, it was just resting :p
it's always nice when someone posts a fix to a problem that they brought up. the main thing with the uproar phone was installing the drivers that were not approved by microsoft.
i have mp3 on my phone again!
and i'm one post closer to having my own avatar.
