I used to be able to open my .jpg files with Paint Shop Pro. Ever since I installed this Tonka Truck game for my son, these .jpg files are now known as Quick Time Pictures. I don't want to have to uninstall the game. Everything else seems fine. Is there a way to associate the .jpg files with PSP again? I tried to do this from the View/Options/File Types (I'm running Windows 95), the icons were changed, I changed the program that opens the files to PSP...BUT when I went to grab a .jpg to put into an Easy CD Creator 3.5 Jewel Case Layout, the file was still seen as a Quick Time Picture. I wasn't able to paste the picture into the layout and was told to make sure the object is entered into the system registry. Any ideas?
Thanks!

I'm not real familiar with Win 95 but you need to do it a system basis not just a directory. On Win 98 it's Start/Settings/Folder Options/File Types. If that's not it for 95 someone will point you in the right direction

What happened is when you installed the game it installed QT without giving you any choice as to options, QT grabbed the jpegs by default...in PSpro you should have the option to re-associate files to it...give that a shot.

LPMusicMan: I was such a newbie and so thrilled to be installing PaintShopPro initially that I wasn't paying attention to all parts of installation process...and PSP ate all my image files..all jpgs and bmps became "psp" files. Went here (http://www.jasc.com/viewresult.asp?Aid=1&kb=PSP6&QueryID=209221&AN=PSP6001), and followed instructions. I think I still had to go to where Gallaeglagh said and reassociate jpgs with IE, and bitmaps with Paint...not sure on that part. Is there any support on the game that might direct you as to how to get it's grubby fingers off your image files? I love PSP, but want to be able to open jpegs (by doubleclicking on them) in Internet Explorer so that I can see them roughly the same way as whoever I am sending them to. And I just checked..on the file list (fairly long list) of files that PSP will open, I do not see any Quick Time file formats and you will need to get the jpgs back to jpgs, I suspect, to get them to open in the ordinary places.

Thank you all for your replies. I feel kinda dumb, though. This morning when I booted up, everything seemed to be back to normal all on its own. Hmmmm....guess I never thought that a reboot would help. I was able to reassign the file names last night, so at least I know that works.
