I suspect my motherboard of having a bad PS/2 keyboard connector. I get crashes happening for no apparent reason. I have brought the machine to a PC shop, and it worked ok for days. Back home, I get crashes within an hour. The difference between the shop and my home is that the keyboard and mouse are different (as well as the cables, but they are ok, since I use them for another PC).
So, I recently realised that my keyboard was deficient (in terms of its connector) since at startup the 3 green lights stay on a different PC. I thus changed my keyboard.
But I still get crashes. So, I am suspecting my PS/2 connectors (I also changed my mouse).
Is it a reasonnable hypothesis that a PC can crash due to a bad PS/2 connector ????
