Memory check three times?

Hi,
I am working on an older computer. When I turn it on, it goes through the RAM memory check (counts up the RAM) 3 times instead of just once. Does anyone know why and how to fix it?

Yep.....but you have to go into the "bios" setup to change it up. If you choose to do that typically you push the Del (delete) key when you first turn on the computer and it will take you to the "Setup" (or bios setup)..then you arrow down to typically the second area called "Advanced Bios Features".......and open it .........now "enable" the "Quick Power On Self Test" or something like that and it will only count the ram once!
