Checked PCPitstop for WinXP compatability. Says XP will have issues with Bios in the hibernation and power management areas. Been all over FICA site for BIOS update for SD11 motherboard BIOS version 1.17. Nothing there and the board is not on there XP compatability list. If anyone has any thoughts on this please let me know. Thank You

yes.

as long as your BIOS are 2000 and up, ignore pcpitstops advice and put the winXP cd in and give it a go.

(advise you have at least a 500Mhz procesor and 256Mbs RAM)

then I would obviously advise against XP unless you can obtain a BIOS upgrade.

only thing I found was this (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=SD11+motherboard+BIOS+version+1.17)

If you go to the following link they have a universal bios flash there.
BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL about using this though. Wait until someone with more experience than i have has a look at the link to see if it is suiable for you
