When I left-click a folder, I no longer recieve the command to copy to a 3 1/2 in. floppy from the send option. Is there a way to restore this with minimal effort? I hate to reboot from disk, and I've tried to restore from a Systemsuite utility with no results. Thanks, olopbob

Tried your advice but "floppy" command is no longer in Send To folder, any other ideas?
Create a shortcut to the floppy drive and then cut and paste it into the Send to folder...

I'm lost here your "left clicking" to bring up a window that gives you the option to "send to"? I usually have to right click to get those options?
Faster File/Folder Move
[95/98/SE/ME] Most folks will use Explorer's Drag-n-Drop method to move a file or folder from one location to another. But did you know there is an easier and faster way to do this? Use 'Send To' by:
Right-click on the item to be moved.
In the pop-up command menu, highlight the 'Send-To' option.
A list of locations will pop-up in a menu. Select the location you wish to use by clicking on it.
is everything else there like,Compressed folder?

Yoda's right, I meant right-click, but I think I have larger problems.
I have no compressed folder or floppy in my "send to" command when I right-click. Also my floppy (A-drive) has lost it's "format" command in the file drop down command. I also can not find the "send to" folder in my windows directory. If I reinstall my OS what will I need to try to copy before doing so, are does anyone think system restore will work? Is it possible just to reinstall the A-drive?
Have you installed any "tweaking" programs?
The "send to" folder is hidden, if you go to the Windows folder, select Tools, then Folder Options, then view, then find the "show hidden" and check it...after clicking through the "ok" it should now show up...

"the windows folder"= the "send to" folder.
open it and do as described above by mjc.
select Tools, then Folder Options, then view, then find the "show hidden" and check it...after clicking through the "ok" it should now show up...

The "Windows" folder will be on the drive where you have your OS (C:?)
I would recommend a good virus scan, after which you can open a DOS prompt (start>programs>accessories>DOS prompt), type in "Scanreg /restore" (without the "" "") then pick a date prior to this happening.
If this has been happening longer than 5 startups of your computer, it will not help. You could try System Restore as this should give you more dates to pick from.
Good luck http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/cool.gif
