http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif Greetings from down under.
One (simple!) question. I have problems with my registry etc.etc and want to reload Office 97. However, I don't want to lose my Outlook profile etc. Anybody got a fool-proof way of this?
Thanks in advance.... http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/cool.gif

With Office 2000 if you rerun the install you will get the option to repair the installation. I'm not sure if Office 97 gives you the same option. If is doesn't then open the mail icon in control panel.Highlight "personal folders" and click "properties". Make a note of where the PST file is located. Copy all files in that location to a safe place. If anything should be lost after the repair/reinstall just restore the copies you made earlier.

Hope this helps http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
