linux winXP network, not

win xp pro main and win98/Mandrake 8.2 on other.

i had it all working fine then it happened, i lost the network had to setup on both XP and 98, now Mandrake 8.2 cant find network, and i dont have a clue on what steps to take to get the network working from the Mandrake side. im going to try uninstalling the NIC card and see if it will pick it up, if it does ill try and install the software for it.

ok i have to say thanks to andyswork and all the guys that tried to help
me with the above post. ive just spent 4hours of hair pulling fun trying to
sort my prob out. now its sorted. Andy what you told me was right the
control center was on my desk top, the big im here icon. now its working
fine.
