1.what are these "Lilo and Grub" and how do they work on a linux puter?

2.is it better to put Linux on 1 partition on 4?

forgive me, im young. Jiggy

LILO and Grub are Operating system loaders.
They allow you to switch are boot up between the system you want to use.
For a first time user GRUB is about the easiest to use.
MCJ uses another loader that has far more uses . Sorry I don’t have a link to it


If you are going to load multiple operating systems.
Install linux last.
install the others in the following order. As needed or per your preference..
win9x // win2k or xp // then linux
